All our plans feature full size patterns (so no measuring is required) and a detailed, illustrated instruction booklet.
If you do not see the your favorite boat's plans listed, remember I have plans for all the boats in the catalog on my computer and can produce drawings and full size templates to order. I can also custom design a boat to suit your needs.

This boat takes between 60 and 120 hours to build

The Baidarka takes between 80 and 160 hours to build, the Double Baidarka takes between 100 and 200 hours to make.

You can choose to build this boat as an open cockpit double for family outings in calm, sheltered waters or as a two cockpit double for more exposed waters.
The open cockpit eider takes between 50 and 100 hours to build and the double cockpit version takes between 80 and 160 hours.

Skin on frame Baidarka plans $10.00
Plans are for a model but are equally good for building the real thing. Scale the dimensions to suit. No instructions supplied. Use The Aleutian Kayak: Origins, Construction, and Use of The Traditional Seagoing Baidarka, by Wolfgang Brinck, McGraw Hill to fill in the details.
